[한국미술사학회] 2020년 6월 학술발표회

그간 별고 없으셨는지요.
경자년 새해도 어느덧 봄이 가고 여름이 성큼 다가왔습니다. 진작에 학회에서 회원 여러분과 안부와 반가움을 나누었어야 했음에도, 역병의 긴 터널에 갇혀 아직도 뵙지 못했습니다.
3월, 4월, 5월 학회를 차례로 연기하며 사태를 관망했으나, 최근 이사회에서 더 이상 학회 일정을 연기하기 어렵다는 판단하에, 학회 역사상 최초로 온라인 학술발표회를 열기로 했습니다.
다행히 수 십년 전 원로 선생님들이 마련하신 학회 사무실이 촬영공간으로 충분하여, 녹화후 학회 당일(6월 20일) 송출할 계획입니다. 또한 2020년 학회 학술상도 같은 방식으로 시상 예정입니다.
이번 학술발표에는 도자사와 회화사 분야의 박사급 연구자들이 독창적인 주제로 흥미진진한 발표와 토론을 펼칠 예정입니다.
그리고 아쉽지만 원래 계획했던 창립 60주년 기념 도자사 원로(정양모, 강경숙선생님)과의 대화는 12월로 연기하기로 했습니다.
아무쪼록 하루빨리 회원 여러분을 직접 뵙고 인사드릴 수 있기를 고대하겠습니다. 항상 건강하시고 행복하세요.

Dear Members of the Art History Association of Korea,
I hope this message finds you well.
It is regrettable that we had to postponed March, April, and May conferences due to the spreading epidemic. As the board members of the association recently agreed that we could not postpone more conferences, we have decided to held an online conference in June. This will be the first online conference in the history of the Art History Association of Korea, which we believe will be a meaningful academic event.
The office of the Art History Association of Korea, which our senior scholars had generously donated to the association decades ago, will be used as the venue for recording the conference. The recorded video will be uploaded online on the day of the recording. The annual academic prize award will be recorded and uploaded online in the same manner.
In the online conference in June, experts who earned a PhD in ceramics and painting history will present excellent papers and participate in discussions.
The “Conversations with Senior Pioneers of Ceramic History (Prof. 정양모 and Prof. 강경숙),” which had been scheduled in June as part of the Art History Association of Korea’s 60th anniversary, has been regrettably postponed to December.
I sincerely hope to be able to see all of you in person in the near future.
